Meet The Staff

Dr. Arie S. Friedman

Our Medical Director, Arie S. Friedman, M.D., is a father of four and a board-certified pediatrician. He attended medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago after serving seven years as a pilot in the US Navy. Formerly head of Pediatrics at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Illinois, he currently practices at Premier Pediatrics in Lincolnshire, Illinois. Dr. Friedman's compassion for young people combined with his strong commitment to evidence-based medicine forms the core of the Growing Lean philosophy.

Rebecca Bergman

Rebecca Bergman, M.D., M.P.H. is a board-certified pediatrician currently practicing in Lincolnshire, IL. She received her undergraduate degree in biological chemistry at Tulane University. She completed her joint medical degree and masters of public health at the University of Illinois at Chicago; her focus area was community health with an emphasis on health education. One of Beckie's favorite parts of primary care pediatrics is having the opportunity to educate and empower her patients and their families. She lives in Lake County with her husband, 2 children, and the family dog.
